Hi Guys,

Just an FYI, we are looking into this, what I am proposing is using DX CodeRush to provide language agnostic support.

Can I confirm that you guys have CodeRush installed and do you feel that it is a reasonable expectation that people who want to use this component would require CodeRush installed (possibly only the DXCore and not full CodeRush).

My thoughts are that anyone with XAF have a enterprise subscription which includes CodeRush, I know some people are hardcore Refactor! fanbois, but I think myself it is a reasonable expectation that an XAF user would be using CodeRush.

I do have CodeRush installed, and I agree that it is a reasonable assumption.

That is what this discussion is about mate, the idea is currently it is hard coded for C# and the idea is to move it across to using the DXCore Language Parser instead, the advantage here is that we build the class, methods, properties in CodeRush then tell it to output code for the current project whether it be C# or VB.
